 David Lam Park in Yaletown to be an Olympic "Live Site"
Join the City of Vancouver's Olympic Operations staff for an open house to view and discuss the most current design plans for the two proposed "live sites" for the 2010 Winter Games. Live sites are public gathering spaces which will host a range of free activities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games period. City Council approved the 2010 Winter Games Live Site Concept Plan in September 2007. The proposed plan utilizes the Beatty Street civic parking lot and David Lam Park.
Drop by one of these two open houses to learn more about the plans, ask questions and offer feedback.

Tourism Vancouver's Games Client Property Program
Are you interested in hosting Olympic clients at your business location?
If you are a member of Tourism Vancouver, this practical workshop will provide an introduction to the Games Client Property Program - a program devised to provide "property clients" (meaning Tourism Vancouver members with suitable facilities) the opportunity to market their properties to "games clients" (meaning national Olympic committees, official Olympic and Paralympic sponsors, sporting organizations and their official sponsors) for non-accommodation space (including commercial, restaurant, retail, warehousing and land) during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. This workshop is recommended for the following member businesses - attractions, museums, galleries, retail, restaurants, boat and yacht charters, golf courses, casinos and theatres.
