2007 YALETOWN TRICK OR TREAT AND PARADE A HUGE SUCCESS!
Over 80 business’ participated which is way up from the 50 who gave out treats last year. And we were so pleased to have Vancouver CIty Councillor B.C. Lee with us for the entire event along with over 700 kids and parents from the neighbourhood. Treats were handed out at a spectacular rate...Fine Finds on Mainland gave away over 1,000 pieces of candy alone and at least 6 Yaletown merchants were out of candy by 4:30 (yes, ran emergency supplies down to them so no kids would be without!). Eight volunteersand four Ambassadors kept the event safe with everybody smiling.
Promotion for the event included a 6,000 flyer mailout to neighbourhood homes, radio interview on the CBC and 1,000 invitations distributed by hand. And a special thank you to our wonderful sponsors: HSBC Bank Canada, Canada Line, Urban Fare, Roundhouse and Novus.
We are already looking forward to next year's creepy event so Boohave yourself until then!
