LiveCity Yaletown – on the water’s edge at David Lam Park. LiveCity Yaletown will feature live local, national, and international entertainment on the main stage in the afternoon and into the night, culminating each evening with a dynamic nightly closing show. Enjoy the interactive sponsor pavilions, Vancouver House, as well as fun, weekday educational school programming and much more… all for free!

“Made in Vancouver” Festival – I heart VAN ART is filling the streets of Yaletown during the 2010 Olympics. Visual Artists, Singers, Dancers, Musicians, New Media Artists, Actors, Photographers, Videographers, Art Collectives, Street Performers, Performance Artists, Jugglers, Magicians, Children's Entertainers, Circus Acts, Roving Characters, Lighting Designers...and anyone else who would like to share their artistic talents with the world. Yaletown will be one of the few areas in the city SHOWCASING ONLY LOCAL TALENT during the Olympics. Download the backgrounder here.

Flag Walk - Be a part of the excitement this fall with Flag Walk! Keep your eyes out for our flag decals that will be thermo-fixed to sidewalks from South Granville to Yaletown, leading you in the right direction to prepare you for the fun and games that will ensue from launch day November 20th until the end of the 2010 Olympics.Businesses along the Flag Walk will become celebration stations to cheer on any Olympic participating countries they chose - you will be able to see the decked out window displays and ground level exteriors from blocks away!
